DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nThe Corvette Club of Windsor has organized group travel plans\, and we are hoping for a good turnout from the club membership. \n\nDepart Windsor mid day Friday\, September 19. We will meet at the Amy Croft Sobey’s Plaza parking lot adjacent to Gold Star Jewelers. We leave at 9:30 so please arrive by 9:15. We will have a casual cruise to Walkerton\, Ontario where we will arrive late afternoon and be staying at Best Western Plus Walkerton Hotel & Conference Centre. We will not travel on any 400 series highways.\nDepart Walkerton Saturday September 20 at 7:30 AM and travel to the western muster point – Alliston\, Ontario – by 9:30. There are four muster points with timed departure to arrive at Fern Resort together late morning.\nAfter arrival and check-in there will be a reception and welcome BBQ on the pool decks overlooking Lake Couchiching. You are free to explore the resort and use any of the amenities. Your room\, meals and all amenities are included in the resort price. https://fernresort.com/\nDinner banquet in the Main Dining Room: Three-course meal\, menu style with multiple options.\nMixer at Mary Lou’s followed by evening of entertainment and recognition at Fern’s Bergwen’s Theatre.\nSunday morning\, enjoy the resort. DESCRIPTION:Cruise captain Kevin Renaud will once again be curating a road trip to Sarnia. One of the more popular cruises for our members is for ‘Fries Under the Bridge”. \nFries Under the Bridge is a classic Sarnia tradition where locals and visitors gather along the waterfront to enjoy delicious fresh-cut fries right under the Blue Water Bridge. It’s the perfect spot to take in the view of the St. Clair River\, watch the ships pass by\, and share a casual meal with other club members. \nMeet in front of Gold Star Jewelers – 25 Amy Croft Dr – at 9:00 AM preparing for a 9:30 departure. Bring your appetite and a couple of lawn chairs and enjoy the day!
