Due to the unfortunate ongoing strike in Windsor, we will not be able to hold our show in Windsor, so the Town of
LaSalle has offered their park for our 2009 show. Councilor Wayne Fortin and Director of Culture and Recreation
Terry Fink have stepped forward and offered the use of Gil Maure park
located on Front Rd. in LaSalle to the Corvette Club of Windsor to hold
this year's event. Located on the LaSalle waterfront, the park has
ample space for vehicles and our vendors, public washrooms, local
restaurants within walking distance and ample parking for spectators.
The Corvette Club of Windsor would like to thank the Town of LaSalle for
welcoming the Corvette Club of Windsor with open arms at such a
difficult time. We feel that with the support of our sponsors,
advertisers and participants and the Town of LaSalle, this will be the
best show yet. Please take a moment to forward this letter to anybody
who may be interested in our show. If you have any further questions or
comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at 519-562-5616, or by

Hi Everyone
Well, with the waining days of summer quickly approaching, what better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a club picnic! The club will be providing the burgers, wieners, pop and water! If you feel so inclinedyou could bring a dish that we might all share, that would be nice .
We thought that Rondeau park would be a great place because of it closeness, with ample parking for our cars, covered pavilions and bbq pits. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring your bathing suits, lawn chairs, sunscreen and bug spray, and you can either swim in the lake or the bay. We'll be taking the scenic route to the park and see some of the beautiful Lake Erie shoreline. Because we have to purchase the food ahead of time for this picnic, we ask you that you would give the club a definite answer as to your attendance so that we can plan appropriately.
For what ever reason you might not be taking your Vette (Maybe your bringing the whole family?) and you'd like to volunteer your vehicle to help transport some items (Food/chips/pop/etc?) it would be greatly appreciated. We are also looking for a few volunteers to to purchase some supplies before hand for the picnic as well. Remember: If you purchase any of these food items, you will be reimbursed that day. So charge up those FSR's and program your GPS for a fun filled day!
OK then, the devil's in the details: WHEN: Saturday Sept 19Th @ 10 am leave by 10:30 am Where: meeting at Tim Horton's 380 Maidstone rd. Essex (By the Canadian Tire by #3 bypass)
